Greg Hoyt's Martial Arts Background

Sibak Greg Hoyt began his Martial Arts journey in the U.S. Army 1969, training Judo and unarmed combat. After leaving the service he dabbled in several martial art systems, including 2 years amateur boxing in central California. Shortly after moving back to Maui, Sibak Greg Hoyt began looking into some of the local martial arts schools. "When looking for a school, the instructor is probably just as important as the particular style. Sifu Trent Sera impressed us from the start. My son and I have been training with him since 2000, and the journey continues."

Beginning in 2003 Sibak started crosstraining in BJJ with Maui Jiu Jitsu and the Gracie Jiu Jitsu Academy in So. California.

In 2006 Sibak Greg Hoyt began training Kali under Guro Eliseo Sur from the Villabrille-Largusa Kali System.
