Sibak
Frank K Kuamoo II began his exploration of the martial
arts at a young age of five years old, learning Shotokan
Karate from his father Frank Sr. and boxing from Mr.
Lucky Davis. During his teenage years, Sibak Frank began
exploring Jun Fan Boxing (Jeet Kune Do Concepts), Zheng
Gar Fist, and Filipino Martial Arts under Sifu Daniel
Layne. Sibak Frank also wrestled for Molokai High School
and participated in several amateur boxing matches.
In 1992 Sibak joined the Maui Police Department where
he served until the year 2000, leaving the department
to start a Private Security Firm. As part of the training
in the Police Department, Sibak learned Aikido from
Sensei Suzuki. Police Training also included Police
Arrest and Defense Tactics. While serving with the Police
Department Sibak dabbled in Brazilian JiuJitsu with
his fellow Police Officers, and in Escrima with Escrimador
Kingo Arricayos. Sibak Frank has also attended numerous
training seminars in Officer Survival and Tactics.
During the 90's Sibak Frank trained boxing under the
late Marcellus Dudoit and kickboxing under Sifu Jeff
McKee.
In December 2004 Sibak Frank enrolled in Sera's Kajukenbo.
He has finally found a true mixed martial art in which
freedom of expression is encouraged. In June of 2007
Sibak Frank earned his black belt in Kajukenbo from
Sifu Trent Sera. Sibak Frank has four sons training
at Sera's Kajukenbo. They are Frankie, Johnathan, Donald,
and Ethan James.
In 2006 Sibak Frank began training in the Villabrille-
Largusa Kali System under Guro Eliseo Sur.
