Sibak Frank K Kuamoo II Martial Arts Background

Sibak Frank K Kuamoo II began his exploration of the martial arts at a young age of five years old, learning Shotokan Karate from his father Frank Sr. and boxing from Mr. Lucky Davis. During his teenage years, Sibak Frank began exploring Jun Fan Boxing (Jeet Kune Do Concepts), Zheng Gar Fist, and Filipino Martial Arts under Sifu Daniel Layne. Sibak Frank also wrestled for Molokai High School and participated in several amateur boxing matches.

In 1992 Sibak joined the Maui Police Department where he served until the year 2000, leaving the department to start a Private Security Firm. As part of the training in the Police Department, Sibak learned Aikido from Sensei Suzuki. Police Training also included Police Arrest and Defense Tactics. While serving with the Police Department Sibak dabbled in Brazilian JiuJitsu with his fellow Police Officers, and in Escrima with Escrimador Kingo Arricayos. Sibak Frank has also attended numerous training seminars in Officer Survival and Tactics.

During the 90's Sibak Frank trained boxing under the late Marcellus Dudoit and kickboxing under Sifu Jeff McKee.

In December 2004 Sibak Frank enrolled in Sera's Kajukenbo. He has finally found a true mixed martial art in which freedom of expression is encouraged. In June of 2007 Sibak Frank earned his black belt in Kajukenbo from Sifu Trent Sera. Sibak Frank has four sons training at Sera's Kajukenbo. They are Frankie, Johnathan, Donald, and Ethan James.
